Travels...
So I had a conversation with a friend tonight about traveling. We started talking about where we have been and some of our craziest memories at that places. Here are a few places that I have been too and the memories.:
Guatemala
AK-47 Armed security at the entrance and exit doors at a WENDY’S
Flushed toilet paper down after i was specifically told not to.
England
Buckingham Palace
Ate a places called “Albert’s Fish and Chips” I think I have a picture somewhere
Kenya (Twice)
Meeting a Masi tribe and experiencing a little bit of their culture
Having the honor of walking with a tribal chief ahead of his tribe on a walk through the village.
Prepared a chicken for dinner. I had to catch it first and prep it.
Unknowingly was set up to marry some girl from a remote tribe. Luckily I was leaving that week.
I ate Zebra after a safari. It was at a restaurant called Carnivores.
Bathed out of a round bucket. No comment.
Amsterdam ( 4 times )
Got hit by a motorcycle when I was trying to cross the street on a bike. (Dont ask)
Experienced driving from the North coast to South coast within a few hours
Got to visit Den Hague ( This is where most War Crimes cases are held. )
Had my first Hookah experience and no that is not Hooker. Its Hookah. Looks like a giant bong and you can smoke flavored tobacco.
Walked through the Red Light District. I saw stuff that would tear you up with anger. When you walk through there seeing women who are beaten and bruised it does upset you. Especially when you know most of the women are either runaways or forced to work because their passports were stolen and told they had to earn it back.
Had my first Hemp sucker. BLEH!!!
Rode the train system ALL OVER the Netherlands…
Germany ( Twice )
Rode on the AutoBahn
Visited Castles in Heidelberg
Experienced Heineken from a soda fountain at McDonalds.
Saw the Apt that the 9-11 attacks were planned at. (Sobering Moment)
Korea ( Twice )
Drank Water from a well
Spoke on the arts at various instutions
Got lost in the city
Almost missed the train at 2AM and was about 45min from my Aunts place
Saw poverty out the ying yang…
Ate snail
Dined on Live Squid.
US Travels (lived in or been at more then a week) -
Tennessee, Kentucky, North Carolina, Ohio, Michigan, California, Florida,
Alabama, Georgia, Arizona, Texas, Arkansas, New York, Illinois, Minnesota, Missouri,
Kansas, New Hampshire.
